With sadness & gratitude we say farewell to Dr. Marisa L. Wilson

She was an eminent scholar, distinguished educator, and remarkable leader in nursing informatics. Her contribution to this field has been nothing short of glorious, leaving an indelible influence on the nursing community worldwide. Her groundbreaking research and innovative approaches have paved the way for advancement in nursing practice, education, and patient care.

Last year we were honored to have had the privilege of collaborating with Dr. Wilson and we want to express our utmost gratitude to this kindhearted professor who spared no pain in imparting her wisdom, insight, and perspective to our faculty and students, enriching our curriculum with innovative, prestigious and precious methods, and words can't describe our appreciation to you Dr. Wilson.

We also extend our deepest condolences to Professor Wilson's family, friends, and colleagues. Let us remember her not only for her monumental contribution to nursing informatics but also for her kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to the point that she spent so much of her time, energy and finances endeavoring to enhance the knowledge of her students and people without getting anything in return, serving the humanity.

May her legacy continue to inspire and guide us as we strive to establish a safer healthcare system for all.
