Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) has been a symbol of higher education in the country for more than eighty years and the School of Nursing and Midwifery is one of the eleven schools (faculties) of TUMS, which has been training and educating professional nurses and midwives for many years. The international, regional and national role of this School, its spotless reputation that attracts top students in nursing, midwifery and reproductive health at BSc, MSc and PhD levels from Iran and more than 10 countries, and its exceptionally talented faculty members and experts have given a privileged role and a special place to this School among all Nursing and Midwifery Schools in the country. |

It is hoped that, by continuing collaborative programs, promoting the quality of education and research, public participation, and decentralization we will further elevate the position of this school among national and international Nursing and Midwifery Schools, and train professional nurses and midwives who poses necessary skills, knowledge and competencies to deliver high quality standard care for their patients and members of the public at different settings. |
