The Department of Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing

The Department of Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing started its activities in 2010. Apart from teaching theoretical courses, access to advanced hospitals and neonatal intensive care units has provided a very suitable atmosphere for the clinical education of students. The educational approach of the department is interdisciplinary so that the academic staff members of the School of Nursing and Midwifery together with the academic staff members of the Faculty of Medicine and with the presence of experienced nurses and trainers have been able to transfer their valuable experiences to students. The department is in charge of teaching international students too. All courses (theoretical, applied and internship) thought to international students are in English.
